![]() ![]() Probably the only roguelike game with so few commands that you can map them to a gamepad. on a similar side note, using a logitech precision gamepad in combination with xpadder works very well for playing DoomRL with a gamepad instead of keyboard. Or maybe the analog button would be good for walk? If you buy the F310 and the controller isn't to your liking, you should be able to return it and get your money back, I imagine. I mainly use the D-pad in most games anyway as a personal preference. Then use one of the four main buttons for automap and maybe a walk button. The analog sticks seem okay on the F310 they're pretty responsive and I haven't noticed any problems on that front. Probably use the shoulder buttons for weapon switching. Use the left trigger for forward movement, up on the d-pad for back peddle, left and right on the d-pad for straffing, and down on the d-pad will either be jump or use. I think I'm going to use the right analog for mouselook but make the up and down pitch less sensitive. What is the z axis? Also, some of the buttons didn't want to map when I tried last time. You must install the Logitech Gaming Software program. Anyone know where there is somewhere that explains how to setup the gamepad in gzdoom? x,y,and z axis and stuff like that. Oblivion requires manual setup and configuration for use with Logitech dual analog controllers. Think I'm going to play around with the dual action gamepad tomorrow. ![]()
